Sometimes You Just Need a Break
We went quiet for September for one simple reason: we needed a break. We swore we weren’t burnt out (how could we be, when we were in the sauna every day?). But the truth is burnout isn’t something you can fix in an hour (even though the sauna does help). Sometimes you have to step back in a bigger way to come back clearer and more intentional.
The thing about rest is that it pays you back. When you give yourself space, you return sharper, calmer, and more grounded. That’s true whether it’s stepping away from your inbox for the weekend (and actually not peeking) or taking a longer vacation.
If you’ve ever hit that wall yourself, you know the difference between a quick recharge and a real reset. It's not just a ‘nice-to-have’, it’s essential if you want to keep showing up for your work, your friends, and for yourself.
So consider this your sign to take a real break. Not one filled with TikTok scrolls or TV as background noise, but an actual reset. Go to bed at 9, eat good food, and clear your calendar for a few days (or a few weeks, if you’re lucky).
